Pineapple Pie & Network!

This is our monthly networking meeting held at various sites around Christchurch and sometimes online. These meetings will feature a guest speaker from the Pacific Business/Professional community and allows time for a networking session over a deliciously made Pineapple Pie!

Mālō e lelei, Talofa lava, Kia ora koutou, and warm Pacific greetings,
Another meaningful Pineapple Pie and Network (PPN) session in the books

A massive thank you to Jordan Figota (Solicitor, Corcoran French) for sharing his journey with us. It was powerful to hear him speak openly about reconnecting with his Samoan heritage, and how that continues to shape both his personal and professional path.

Jordan also gave us practical insights into areas that matter deeply to our community, including property, wills and estate planning, and business law. He made it engaging for everyone in the room, even bringing in a Kahoot quiz that got us all thinking and testing our knowledge.

It was also awesome to have Pacific students from the University of Canterbury join us for the talanoa (Jordan is an alumni). Spaces like this are about connection across generations, learning from one another, and seeing what’s possible.

A big thank you to MOA Yummy for providing the panikeke, always appreciated and enjoyed by all.

Most importantly, thank you again to Jordan for your time, your openness, and for giving back to our Pacific community here in Canterbury.

We look forward to continuing to grow and strengthen our Pacific business network together.

If you would like to connect in with the collective join us here or if you have questions connect with Danté Fyfe or Sefa Faletanoai
