We host regular monthly business and start up networking meetings for Pacific and Pacific supporting people. We share successes and challenges we have faced over the last month and also hear from a guest speaker from our network who showcases their journey into business and what their business is all about.
Business Development Workshops

Hosting all kinds of business development workshops such as Accounting & Tax, Marketing & Advertising, “Your Business Why”, “Volunteering & Business” and Social Enterprise. We also hosted a Business Start-Up workshop which was a first of it’s kind for the Canterbury region.
Support Programmes

For the year of 2022 we are a designated network within the Ministry of Pacific Peoples newly launched programme called the “Pacific Business Village”. This is our first time working with the Ministry.
As a Canterbury based organisation, we have also got a working relationship with the Pacific Business Trust which operates nationally. Currently we refer our PBC members into their system and have in the past co-hosted workshops together.
Economic Development Agencies

We have links with the Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce and the Regional Partnership Programme which can help both our larger PBC members and those even at the smaller scale. We have plans to work closer with these organisations to provide more resources for our growing community.
